Television Stations:
There are no tv stations in the Valley but the Anchorage stations do a good job of covering Valley issues.
Update – Channel 2 (KTUU) and Channel 11 (KTVA) have merged their news operations. Their tv news shows can be seen on both channels in the morning and evening. Their new (combined) website is:

Note: APM is the statewide umbrella group for public radio and tv. KAKM (Channel 7) is the Anchorage based PBS television station. KSKA (91.1) is the Anchorage based NPR radio station. KNBA (90.3) is a commercial free public radio station too but it does not carry the NPR shows. It plays mostly music.
