Major Meth & Heroin Drug Ring with ties to the Mat-Su Valley BUSTED by the Feds

The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Alaska issued a press release yesterday announcing that they have arrested and charged six people with running a criminal enterprise involving narcotics distribution, money laundering, and gun violence in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes.

According to the indictment, the group was responsible for distributing large amounts of heroin and methamphetamine in Alaska from approximately January 2017 through October 2, 2019.

As part of the enterprise, a shipment of 5 kilograms of heroin was sent to the Mat-Su Valley in September of 2019. This shipment was intercepted by law enforcement at that time. NOTE: A kilogram of heroin is worth anywhere from $15,000 to $50,000 (wholesale) on the black market.

The Ring Leader of the criminal enterprise is listed as 33 year old Jordan Shanholtzer, who previously lived in Anchorage but most recently resided in Orlando, Florida.

Shanholtzer’s nickname is “TWO-3” (as in basketball star Michael Jordan) and he claimed to be a self-employed entrepreneur and musician. He has some songs posted on Apple itunes including the single “Money on My Mind.”

Shanholtzer had two Facebook pages as of yesterday, but today, his main FB account seems to have been deleted. However, here are screenshots from that page.

Shanholtzer has previous criminal involvement:
